Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA: priority tickets, hours, and how to get in
Checked against the official website and ticket page on Oct 8, 2026. The Nov–Dec ticket sale is from the official X post of Oct 6, 2026.

Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA is the second permanent Chiikawa Bakery after Tokyo (Omotesando). It opened on June 26, 2026 on the 3F of KITTE Osaka, directly connected to JR Osaka Station. For now, you need a priority entry ticket to get into the bakery, but the goods pop-up shop next door is free entry. This is an unofficial fan guide by Chiifan.

Can I get in without a ticket?
Not into the bakery itself, for now. The official site says entry to Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA is limited to priority entry ticket holders for the time being. The goods pop-up shop right next to it is free entry, first come, first served.
- The pop-up shop carries the same goods as the bakery, but has no bread counter.
- This is different from the Tokyo (Omotesando) shop, where you can get in after 15:00 with a free digital numbered ticket. If you will visit both cities and want bread without a ticket, Tokyo is the easier one.
- On the official site, look for 優先入場券 (priority entry ticket), フリー入場 (free entry) and 完売 (sold out).
Priority tickets: sale dates and how to buy
Tickets are sold online only on Japanticket for ¥1,350 including fees. Each comes with a ¥1,000 shopping voucher for your time slot and an original novelty gift.
- Sept–Oct 2026 tickets are sold out. The official X said Nov–Dec 2026 tickets would go on sale on Oct 7, 2026 at 17:00 JST, first come, first served. The post text said Nov 1–30 while its image said Nov 1–Dec 31, so check which dates the ticket page offers. Sales for January 2027 onward will be announced later.
- Japan time is JST (UTC+9). In the US, 17:00 JST is 4:00 AM Eastern / 1:00 AM Pacific the same day (during daylight saving time).
- Japanticket can be displayed in English or Korean, and the official site says you can buy without registering as a member.
- Up to 6 people per purchase. Sales close the day before your visit (23:59 JST).
- Ticket payment: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, WeChat Pay or Alipay.
- No date changes, no cancellations for personal reasons, no transfers or resale, and lost tickets are not reissued.
On the day: check-in and the voucher
Go to the bakery entrance from 15 minutes before your time slot and show the QR code from your confirmation email. Everyone in your group must arrive together.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, your booking is canceled with no refund or rebooking.
- The ticket means you are let in first; it does not guarantee entry at the exact time. When it is busy, you may wait tens of minutes.
- The ¥1,000 voucher is valid only in your booked time slot. No change is given if you spend less than ¥1,000, and it cannot be used at the pop-up shop next door.
- You may be asked to show ID. If you entered with a priority ticket, you cannot re-enter.
Getting there: KITTE Osaka 3F
KITTE Osaka is inside JP Tower Osaka in Umeda. The official site and KITTE Osaka both describe it simply as directly connected to JR Osaka Station; neither gives a gate name or walking time.
- Address: 3-2-2 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka 530-0001, KITTE Osaka 3F. Use the official Google Map link below.
- You cannot enter the building grounds before opening hours, and lining up overnight or early in the morning is not allowed.
- The bakery has no cloakroom and does not hold bags or strollers, so leave suitcases in station coin lockers.
- Use the building’s shared elevators; there are no steps inside the shop. If you use a wheelchair, the official site asks you to contact the customer center at least 2 business days before your visit, because the shop is small.
- KITTE Osaka has parking on B3 (24 hours, ¥360 per 30 minutes, height limit 2.1 m).
What to buy: Osaka-only bread and goods
You will find the same character-face breads that are popular in Tokyo, plus Osaka-only items such as the Chiikawa takosen burger (¥670).
- Other breads include the Kurimanju bread, Momonga bread, loaf breads and seasonal items such as the Halloween black-cat breads (from Oct 2, until sold out). Seasonal items change, so check the official menu.
- KITTE Osaka’s shop page also mentions Osaka-only goods and a bread-oven display with a long pink chimney inside the shop.
- From Oct 29, 2026, a 2nd-anniversary lunch box (size M, ¥1,540) is sold only to people who buy bread at the counter, at the Tokyo and Osaka bakeries.
- Quantities are limited and per-person limits may apply. There is no eat-in space; everything is take-out.
- Payment: cash, cards (including UnionPay), Japanese transit IC cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.
