Does Chiikawa Market ship overseas?

Yes. The official FAQ says to choose your country or region on the purchase page; if your country is not listed, the shop does not ship there for now. Orders from outside Japan go through Global-e (a company that handles payment and shipping for overseas orders, named in Chiikawa Market’s official guide), and DHL delivers them.

• South Korea is in the country selector, and choosing it shows prices in Korean won (as of Oct 11, 2026).
• For orders from outside Japan, Global-e, not the shop’s operator, is the seller, so Global-e’s terms of sale also apply.
• The site can be shown in English or Korean from the language menu.

What the official rules say

These come from the international shipping page, the FAQ and the terms of service.

• Payment: the methods available in your region are shown on the checkout screen.
• Shipping fee: calculated automatically at checkout, at the rate of the month you pay. Duties and taxes may apply depending on your country.
• Shipping time: items are shipped within 7 business days from the order date, with a DHL tracking number sent by email.
• You cannot change the address after the order is confirmed, and you cannot cancel after the order confirmation email.
• Returns and exchanges are only for defects or wrong items, reported within 7 days of receiving the parcel.
• According to the FAQ, you need a free Chiikawa Market account (name, email and password) to place an order.
• Some product pages say “This item does not ship to overseas.” On Oct 11, 2026 we saw it on tableware, cups, food, cosmetics and lights, among others.

Forwarding and proxy-buying services

The terms say the site is meant for people living in Japan, and people outside Japan can buy only through Global-e or by using a forwarding service. Forwarding and proxy-buying services are used “at your own risk”, and the shop takes no responsibility for costs or damage they cause.

• If you use a forwarding service, returns and exchanges are handled as if you were in Japan: you must contact the shop within 7 days of the parcel reaching the Japanese address.
• Buying for profit and reselling are banned in the terms.
• Chiifan does not recommend or link to any forwarding or proxy service.

Online lottery (Chiikawa Kuji) and restocks

The separate online lottery site, Chiikawa Kuji, says in its terms that it is for people living in Japan and does not ship outside Japan. It does not mention Global-e.

Official places to buy in Korea

In Seoul there is Chiikawa Shop IPARK Mall Yongsan, which the official Chiikawa goods X account introduced as “The OFFICIAL Korea Chiikawashop”. It opened on Feb 27, 2026, on the 3rd floor of IPARK Mall Living Park.

• The shop is listed on Popcon D Play, run by Daewon Media, with hours of 10:30–22:00.
• Daewon Media’s online shop, Daewon Shop, has a brand page for 먼작귀 (the Korean title of Chiikawa) with goods for sale. Daewon Shop says some items on the site are sold by other sellers, so check the seller on each product page.

If you are travelling to Japan

Chiikawa Land shops, Chiikawa Park and other permanent shops in Japan sell goods in person. Some items are only sold at the shops or the park.

Popular items sell out fast and often appear on resale sites at higher prices. Buy from the official shop, the official Korean shop or the official partners, and check restock news on the official accounts.
