  • Ramen Buta’s 11:00–14:00 priority reservations are free spots in the waiting line. The official page says the booking schedule and URL will be announced later, so check its page and X before you go. When it’s crowded, numbered tickets may be handed out at the shop.
  • Ramen Buta’s original goods are sold only to people who eat there (some are also sold on the official online store, Chiikawa Market).
  • PARCO’s shop pages list both Chiikawa Land and Ramen Buta as not tax-free (免税 対象外), so don’t count on a tax refund there.
  • PARCO’s building hours are shortened for now, so check its site before an early or late visit.

Chiikawa Park in Sunshine City

Chiikawa Park is an indoor attraction on B1F–1F of Sunshine City Annex. It is open 10:00–19:00 (last entry 17:40) and needs a date-and-time ticket from Asoview! (adults 12+ ¥3,500, children 4–11 ¥1,800).

  • Tickets go on sale on the 15th of each month at 12:00 JST for the month two months ahead (moved to the previous weekday if the 15th is a weekend or holiday).
  • The park’s goods shop is inside, so you need a ticket to shop there. The park is cashless only.
  • You can’t enter from street level: use the Sunshine City underground entrance and walk to the Annex B1F entrance.

Getting around, and a sample day

PARCO is right at Ikebukuro Station’s East Exit. Sunshine City is about 8 minutes on foot from East Exit 35 along Sunshine 60 Street, or about 3 minutes from Higashi-Ikebukuro Station (Yurakucho Line) Exits 6 and 7 through the underground passage.

  • With park tickets: start at the park (opens 10:00; visitors typically stay about 2 hours), walk back to PARCO, eat at your Restaurant time slot or at Ramen Buta after 14:00, and finish with shopping at Chiikawa Land (open until 21:00).
  • With no reservations: PARCO opens at 11:00. Shop at Chiikawa Land (B2F), browse the Restaurant’s goods shop (7F, no ticket needed), then eat at Ramen Buta (8F) after 14:00.
  • The Restaurant’s meeting times are not guaranteed seating times, so leave some buffer around them.
