Chiikawa’s Shisa Arc (2022): the to-do list and Shisa’s drinking qualification
Based on our Japanese story page and article on this arc; anime episodes checked on the official anime site (2026-10-01).
Shisa works at the ramen shop “Ro” under Ramen Yoroi-san, whom Shisa calls “Master,” and is studying hard for a drinking qualification. The first half runs alongside Chiikawa and Hachiware’s “to-do list” story; the second half follows the two as they watch over Shisa. Nagano posted it on X in June and July 2022. This is not the License Arc that has been running since September 2026. Here is where to read it in order, and the anime episodes, without spoilers.

What is the Shisa Arc about? (no spoilers)
Chiikawa has been secretly keeping a “to-do list,” and when Hachiware sees it, Hachiware starts one too: each thing they get done earns a sticker. One day the two meet Shisa, who is studying outdoors for a drinking qualification.
- Shisa keeps studying, outside and at a café, until one day Shisa happens to overhear a worrying rumor about the “Super Arbeiter” (super part-timer) system.
- Shisa pushes too hard and falls ill, and Chiikawa and Hachiware look after Shisa. Later, Shisa and Ramen Yoroi-san talk about the rumor.
- Where the rumor came from is not explained. What it means for Shisa, and what Shisa decides, we leave to the comic and the anime.
Two qualifications: “Super Arbeiter” and the drinking one
In this arc Shisa already works at Ro. The “Super Arbeiter” qualification, needed to work there, is one Shisa already has; the one Shisa is studying for here is a separate drinking qualification.
- The name of the drinking qualification and what its exam involves are not explained.
- Chiikawa also writes “Super Arbeiter” on its own list, so Chiikawa, who dreams of that qualification, and Shisa, who heard the rumor about it, share some scenes.
Not the same as the License Arc (2026)
Since September 2026, Nagano has been posting a different Shisa story, the License Arc, in which a drinking “license” comes to Shisa. The Shisa Arc on this page is the earlier one from 2022.
- The story does not say whether the License Arc continues from this one.
Which anime episodes is the Shisa Arc?
In the anime it is episodes 245 to 256 (12 episodes): “Yaritai koto list 1–5” (やりたいことリスト, To-Do List) in episodes 245–249, and “Shisa no shikaku 1–8” (シーサーの資格, Shisa’s Qualification) in episodes 249–256.
- Episode 249 is split: the first half is the last “To-Do List” part, the second half the first “Shisa’s Qualification” part.
- The episodes aired in Japan from February 2025; the last one, episode 256, aired on Mar 28, 2025, on Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV”.
- We have only checked the broadcast in Japan.
